Bridge Tennis Club boasts three well maintained tarmacadam courts, each with floodlights activated with tokens available from BTC committee members and club coaches Stewart Bristow and David Whitehouse. Set in the peaceful and idyllic surroundings of the village of Bridge in Kent, BTC offers a safe and friendly environment for everyone of all ages and playing standards to enjoy the great game of tennis.
As with any tennis courts surrounded by green spaces, the courts are regularly treated and sprayed to keep back moss growth and court surface deterioration. The courts were last treated in the Spring of 2015 and we are pleased to say that this treatment was a success and the courts are in great shape for continued use for leisure and competitive play.
Erected in 2000, the current Pavilion plays an important role at the club in providing excellent changing facilities and space to hold social tennis events. Funded by a National Lottery Grant and club reserves, the new clubhouse pavilion is accessible to all members by obtaining a key on joining the club at a cost of £10.00, to cover the cost of key cutting.
The club has its own ball machine for anyone wanting to spend an intense session of practicing shots and improving technique. Like most tennis clubs, the ball machine is very popular and can only be used subject to availability and required maintenance (as the ball machine can break down from time to time).
